Quotes
"We had a strong start to the MAAC Championships with a pair of winners in the long jump.
Mariah Stephens has had a great freshman season and it was really great to see her win the long jump. She has been consistently good all year which is something that we are always preaching to the athletes. The best are consistent and she showed that today."
"I am really excited for the women's distance medley relays. They finished second in a tough field with very strong performances."
"The women were great also with Mackenzie getting things rolling for the women. Dyani and Lydia were great in the middle and Teagan was able to close it down for second. These relays should be a big confidence builder for tomorrow.
It is exciting to be in second place in the team scoring but there are a lot of events remaining tomorrow and things can turn quickly so we need to be ready." -
