Makayla Firebaugh (Winchester, VA/James Wood) was named Preseason Third-Team All-MAAC. The 2020-21 MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year averaged 11.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last season. Her 31 points against Niagara were the most in a single game by any player in the MAAC last season.

- Rider has made the MAAC Semifinals in five of the last six seasons. The Broncs were named MAAC Champions for 2019-20 for the first time in program history.

Raphaela Toussaint (Kingston, Ontario/Lincoln Prep) led the Broncs with five double-doubles last season. She finished the season averaging 10.8 points and a team high 7.4 rebounds. Her 7.4 rebounds per game ranked seventh in the MAAC last season.

- Mobley's five assists last time out gives her 370 for her career, fourth-most in program history. Next on the list is Stella Johnson '20, who finished with 428.

- The Broncs led the MAAC and ranked 42
nd nationally with an average of 4.2 blocks per game last season.
Anna Ekerstedt (Varberg, Sweden/Marks Gymnasieskola) averaged 1.50 blocks per contest last season. Even with Ekerstedt sidelined due to injury, Rider blocked nine shots against NJIT.

- Nearly two-thirds of
Jessika Schiffer's (Iserlohn, Germany/Deutschhaus Gymnasium Würzburg) shots last season (179-277) came from three-point range. She was 1-2 from three on Monday, taking five total shots from the field.

- Incoming transfer
ToniRenee Blanford (Montclair, NJ/The Patrick School) made her Rider debut Monday, scoring six points and grabbing four boards.

- Drexel and Rider met for the first time in the
Lynn Milligan era during the 2020-21 season, a 13-point victory for the Dragons. Mobley led Rider with 13 points in that game. The teams have met 30 times throughout the years with Drexel taking the last six meetings and holding a 21-9 edge all-time.

- Drexel had a strong season in 2021-22, winning the CAA Regular Season Title and advancing to the WNIT, where the Dragons won a pair of games. The Dragons will be playing their first game of the season, The Dragons lost four seniors that combined for 1,295 points, 727 rebounds, and 322 assists last season, but do return CAA Preseason Player of the Year Keishana Washington.
