GREENWOOD, IN – The Academic All-District Teams selected by College Sports Communicators were announced Tuesday and Rider's
Alicia Iafrate,
Pamela Loh,
Morgan Romano, and
Tori Schrader all earned All-District honors and are now eligible for the Academic All-America Teams.
Iafrate led the Broncs and finished 10
th in the MAAC with 237 digs this year, while maintaining a 3.56 GPA as a Global Supply Chain Management major. The senior added 30 assists and 12 aces on the season.
Loh finished second on the team to Iafrate with 212 digs on the season, all while maintaining a 3.95 GPA as an Elementary Education major. Loh was third on the team with 23 aces on the season.
Romano, the first four-time All-MAAC honoree in program history, has maintained a 3.59 GPA while studying Elementary Education. The senior finished the season ranked third in the MAAC with 353 kills, hitting .220 for the season. She finished in double figures in kills 18 times, with 20 or more kills on five occasions. Romano also added 72 assists and 217 digs, finishing the season with six double-doubles.
Schrader finished second on the Broncs with 192 kills, and maintained a 3.67 GPA while studying Psychology. The junior finished in double figures in kills in nine matches, including each of the Broncs' two wins in the MAAC Tournament.
