Morgan Romano (Oviedo, FL/Hagerty) earned First-Team All-MAAC honors. Romano becomes the first Bronc to earn All-MAAC honors four times. In addition to Romano, freshman middle hitter
Carley McAleavey (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown West) earned a nod on the All-Rookie Team.
Romano finished the season ranked sixth in the MAAC with 319 kills, hitting .213 for the season. The senior finished in double figures in kills 16 times, with 20 or more kills on five occasions. Romano also added 71 assists and 194 digs, finishing the season with six double-doubles.
McAleavey finished the season third in the MAAC with a .304 hitting percentage, totaling 158 kills. The Freshman finished with double-digit kills six times, led by a 13-kill performance on .500 hitting in Rider's win at Manhattan. The freshman also added 19 aces and 44 blocks.
The Broncs earned the seven-seed in the conference tournament and defeated no. 10 Manhattan in the opening round earlier today.
