- The Broncs lost to Drexel, 84-58, last time out. Jessika Schiffer's (Iserlohn, Germany/Deutschhaus Gymnasium Würzburg) led the Broncs with 13 points, all in the second half.
 
- Rider was picked to finish tied for sixth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Broncs return four starters and all but three members of last year's team.
 
- Makayla Firebaugh (Winchester, VA/James Wood) was named Preseason Third-Team All-MAAC. The 2020-21 MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year averaged 11.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game last season. Her 31 points against Niagara were the most in a single game by any player in the MAAC last season.
 
- The Broncs finished last season 9-21 with a 7-13 MAAC mark.
 
- Rider has made the MAAC Semifinals in five of the last six seasons. The Broncs were named MAAC Champions for 2019-20 for the first time in program history.
 
- Raphaela Toussaint (Kingston, Ontario/Lincoln Prep) led the Broncs with five double-doubles last season. She finished the season averaging 10.8 points and a team high 7.4 rebounds. Her 7.4 rebounds per game ranked seventh in the MAAC last season.
 
- Amanda Mobley's (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) seven assists last time out gives her 377 for her career, fourth-most in program history. Next on the list is Stella Johnson '20, who finished with 428.
 
- The Broncs led the MAAC and ranked 42nd nationally with an average of 4.2 blocks per game last season. Anna Ekerstedt (Varberg, Sweden/Marks Gymnasieskola) averaged 1.50 blocks per contest last season. Even with Ekerstedt sidelined due to injury, Rider blocked nine shots against NJIT.
 
- Nearly two-thirds of Schiffer's shots last season (179-277) came from three-point range. 10 of her 15 shots this season have come from deep.
 
- Incoming transfer ToniRenee Blanford (Montclair, NJ/The Patrick School) made her Rider debut Monday, scoring six points and grabbing four boards.
 
- The Terriers jumped out to a 12-2 lead and never looked back in the win at Alumni Gym last season. Makayla Firebaugh led four Broncs in double figures in the game last season, scoring 16 in the game. The Terriers victory snapped a two-game Rider winning streak in the series. The series has evened lately after the Broncs led 15-1 through the first 16 meetings.
 
- Picked to finish third in the NEC Preseason Poll, the Terriers are led by the backcourt duo of Alyssa Fisher and Mikayla Markham. Fisher, a senior, leads the team at 12.5 points per game this season. Markham, a graduate student transfer from Columbia, leads the team at 5.5 assists per game. SFC is 1-1 on the season after beating Old Westbury and falling to St. John's.
