LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Seven Rider University men's basketball players finished in double figures and the Broncs shot over 60 percent from the floor in a 111-79 win over Cabrini in a preseason exhibition game Saturday at Alumni Gym.
Dwight Murray, Jr. (Austell, GA/Pebblebrook [Incarnate Word]) led Rider with 18 points, while
Allen Powell (Philadelphia, PA/La Salle College H.S.) added 17.
Allen Betrand (Philadelphia, PA/Roman Catholic [Towson/Rhode Island]) scored 13 points in his first game as a Bronc, while
Ajiri Ogemuno-Johnson (Delta State, Nigeria/Bonner-Prendergast) and
Zahrion Blue (Princeton, NJ/Princeton [Lincoln]) added 11 points apiece.
Tariq Ingraham (Philadelphia, PA/Bonner-Prendergast [Wake Forest]) and
Nehemiah Benson (Streetsboro, OH/Lutheran East) each chipped in with 10 points to round out the Broncs' double-figure scorers.
The Cavaliers hung with the Broncs for much of the first half, forcing eight lead changes in the early going. Cabrini led by as many as three point at the 8:28 mark, before an 8-0 run gave the Broncs the lead for good. Rider's lead would swell to its largest point of the half on Murray's buzzer-beating floater at the end of the period, putting the Broncs on top, 57-44.
A double-digit advantage for the duration of the final 20-plus minutes, Rider's lead grew to as many as 34 points with 1:23 remaining in regulation.

Broncs by the Numbers
- Murray went for 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists. He made 7-of-13 attempts from the floor, including 4-of-6 from long range in 25 minutes.
- Powell scored 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including 3-of-6 from long range. He also added four assists.
- Betrand made 5-of-6 attempts from the floor, including all three of his three-point attempts. He grabbed four rebounds in 19 minutes.
- Ogemuno-Johnson, Benson and Blue also made five field goals apiece, with Benson grabbing a team-high eight rebounds.
- Ingraham was 4-for-4 from the floor and made 2-of-3 free-throw attempts. He grabbed five rebounds and blocked two shots.
- Blue added seven rebounds.

Corey McKeithan (Windsor, CT/Windsor) added eight points and a team-high six assists and two steals.

Anthony McCall (Philadelphia, PA/Academy of the New Church) also scored eight points on 4-of-5 shooting and grabbed four rebounds in 14 minutes.
- For the game, Rider outshot Cabrini, 60.5 percent (46-76) to 41.8 percent (28-67) from the floor, including a 56.0 percent (14-25) to 40.0 percent (14-35) margin from beyond the arc.
- Rider doubled up the Cavaliers on the glass, 50-25, including a 14-5 margin on the offensive boards.
