LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University women's soccer team fell, 1-0, on a Niagara penalty kick in the 76
th minute on the road Saturday afternoon on Ben Cohen Field. With the loss, the Broncs fall to 5-7- 2 (2-5-0 MAAC), while the Purple Eagles improved to 8-5-1 (5-1-1 MAAC).
Following a scoreless first half that saw Rider junior goalkeeper
Ellie Sciancalepore (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) make four saves, Niagara was awarded a penalty kick following a hand ball in the box in the 76
th minute. Zoe Jones converted for the game's lone goal.
