What You Need To Know
- Rider returns home when it hosts Fairfield Friday and Canisius Sunday.
- It is Greek Night at the Broncs Zoo. The first 100 Greeks to check-in will receive a free t-shirt. Additionally, there will be a tug-of-war contest between a select few Greek chapters with strong attendance.
- The pep band and dance team will make their return to Alumni Gym this weekend.
- The Broncs had dropped four-straight before storming back from down 17 at the half at Niagara to earn a 70-67 win. 
- Rider dropped a heartbreaker Jan. 21 at Canisius, 70-69, on Armon Harried's one-handed, 15-foot runner from the right elbow with 2.2 seconds left. Dwight Murray, Jr. flirted with a triple-double for Rider, finishing with 27 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.
- Rider had won six-straight meetings with Fairfield to even the series at 34-34 prior to a 72-56 setback in the second game of a weekend series on Jan. 2, 2021.  The Stags retook the all-time series lead, 35-34. The two teams split last season's series. The last time the two teams had split a season series was 2011-12, when each team won on its home court. 
- Taj Benning and Jake Wojcik lead Fairfield at 11.3 points per game apiece, while Supreme Cook also averages in double figures at 10.2 ppg. to go along with a team-best 8.1 rebounds per game. Caleb Green has also contributed 7.9 ppg. and a team-high 2.9 assists per game. Jesus Cruz has also matched Green's 7.9 ppg.
- Dimencio Vaughn became Rider's all-time steals leader with five thefts against Saint Peter's on Jan. 16. His total now stands at 197 steals. He also reached 700 rebounds at Rider on Jan. 23 at Niagara to move into 15th in program history. He's now the only player in the top 15 in school history in points (1,466-14th), rebounds (700-15th), blocks (76-14th) and steals (197-1st). 
- Rider shot a season-high 57.1 percent (28-49) Jan. 9 at Marist, including 64.3 percent (9-14) from long range. For his 14-point, 11-assist effort, Dwight Murray, Jr. was named MAAC Player of the Week.
- 10th-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 152-145 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Only John Carpenter (292) and Thomas Leyden (187) have more wins at Rider than Baggett.
