STATEN ISLAND, NY –
Allie Riches and
Savanna Marcantonio took first place finishes to lead the Rider University women's track and field team in the Gotham Cup, at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex Friday.
Karissa Watson and
Mariah Stephens added second place finishes, while Khalin Hemmingway and
Natya Glasco contributed third-place finishes.
Riches claimed first place with a mark of 3.65m in the pole vault, while Marcantonio finished first in the high jump with a mark of 1.60m.
Watson took second in the long jump with a 5.36m mark,
Mariah Stephens took second in the triple jump with a 11.53m mark.
Hemingway finished third in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.05, while Glasco took third in the shot put (12.68m).
