CHATTANOOGA, TN - Quinn Kinner (Mullica Hill, NJ/Kingsway [Ohio State]) was the lone Bronc to reach the podium on Day Two of the Southern Scuffle on Sunday. Richie Koehler (Middletown, NJ/Christian Brothers Academy) and David Szuba (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) also entered the day in the hunt for a podium spot but were both eliminated in the blood round.

Kinner earned a placement by virtue of his 9-0 major decision over Maryland's David Bertoni. After dropping a 7-3 decision to Iowa's Wyatt Henson, Kinner received a medical forfeit from Cornell's Josh Saunders to finish seventh.

Ethan Laird and McKenzie Bell also competed unattached at the Illinois Matmen Open that took place on Thursday, December 30^th. Laird claimed 2^nd place at 285 after his bout against three-time All-American Trent Hillger from Wisconsin. Bell finished 6^th place at 141.
