Men's Track & Field Earns Seven All-East Honors, Finishes 4th at IC4A Championships

4x800 relay team finishes second to highlight Day 3 accomplishments

SPRINGFIELD, MA – The Rider University men's track & field team wrapped up IC4A Championships Sunday, earning seven more All-East honors and finish fourth out of 32 teams. Marques Merriweather, Alix Oge, Kevin Moran, Darnell St. Clair, Justin Gladden and Artie Burgess each earned the honor individually, while the 4x800 relay team of Mike Mazzei, Scott Ruskan, Tamrat Snyder and Kevin Heredia also took the recognition.

Mazzei, Ruskan, Snyder and Heredia ran the 4x800 in 7:40.69 to finish second, the Broncs' top finish on the day, and earn All-East.  

Burgess ran the 200 in 21.62 seconds to finish fourth and earn All-East, while Moran was fifth in the 400 hurdles at 52.81 seconds.

St. Clair finished fourth in the triple jump (14.81m) and was followed in seventh by Gladden (14.79m). Jayson Lee also competed in the triple jump and finished 12th (13.82m).

Merriweather and Oge both competed in the 110 hurdles, finishing sixth and eighth, respectively. Merriweather (14.61) and Oge (14.72) both posted PR's to earn All-East.
