Notes
-
Kaitlyn Tomas (Campbellville, Ontario/Appleby College) moved to 5-0 with the victory in the cage, making one save and allowing her first goal of the season after shutouts in each of the first four games.
- Rider sits alone atop the NEC Standings at 5-0, ahead of LIU (3-1), the only one-loss team in the league. While LIU has Bryant still on the schedule on Thursday, the Sharks defeated both of the two-loss teams currently below them in the standings (Wagner – 3-2, Fairfield – 2-2) and would take the second seed by virtue of both the head-to-head and three-way tiebreakers against the teams.
- The Broncs complete the regular season Thursday at 5 p.m. when they visit Sacred Heart.
