Quotes & Notes
"We're just comparing this game to last week's game and it was so much better than when we played last week, which is to be expected given the absence from playing and no preseason games. When you look at it, we always play two preseason games. This was our second preseason game. Obviously we're thrown in against a very good team, a very competitive team, physical team. So, the fact that we competed and we competed hard and obviously we have a smaller squad, is really pleasing."
"We scored two goals. We could be disappointed that we were winning 2-1 with five minutes left to go. But that's part of the learning. So, I'm almost disappointed we didn't get the win. But there's a positive to having played overtime, having to compete and battle for overtime for what we want to be doing later on in April. I think it's a positive result. I think some of the freshmen did really well."
– Rider Head Coach Drayson Hounsome
- Freshman goalkeeper
Ellie Sciancalepore (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) made her second-straight start in net for the Broncs, making seven saves.
