JERSEY CITY, NJ –
Dwight Murray, Jr. (Austell, GA/Pebblebrook [Incarnate Word]) led the Broncs with 13 points and six assists, but Saint Peter's used a 20-3 second-half run to surge past the Rider University men's basketball team, 66-52, Friday afternoon. With the loss, the Broncs fall to 4-14 (4-11 MAAC), while the Peacocks are now 12-8 (9-6 MAAC).
A back-and-forth game in the first 20 minutes, Rider used nine first-half points from Murray, including a bucket inside as time expired to take a one-point lead into the locker room at halftime.
A 7-0 run early in the second half gave Saint Peter's the lead. Rider fought back with five straight to retake the lead and continued to lead, 39-36, with less than 13 minutes to play. But Saint Peter's would score 20 of the next 23 points to put the game out of reach.

- Rider leads the all-time series with Saint Peter's, 38-32. The Peacocks have won the last two meetings, both in Jersey City.
