LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University Head Baseball Coach
Dr. Barry Davis announced the commitments of 12 players for the 2022-23 academic year. The group will join the Broncs for the 2023 season.
"This is an extremely talented class with tremendous upside," said Davis. "As with each class, the expectations are high, but we understand the hard work remains ahead.

Christian Aiello – LHP/Hewitt, NJ/West Milford
Aiello is a three-year starter at West Milford High School. Following a strong 2021 season, he was named First-Team All-Conference, First-Team All-County, and Team MVP. As a junior that year, he threw 43.1 innings with a 2.28 ERA and 75 strikeouts.
Peter Craig – RHP/Barnegat, NJ/Barnegat
Craig is a three-year starter for Barnegat High School as a corner infielder and pitcher. He is ranked no. 151 in New Jersey and top 1,000 in the country by Perfect game, is a member of 2021 Perfect Game Underclassmen All-America Team, and has made three World Series All-Tournament Teams.
Chase Fischer – 1B/Ringoes, NJ/Hunterdon Central
Fisher earned honors as a member of the 2020 Perfect Game U16 Northeast Championship All-Tournament Team, 2020 Perfect Game U16 Mid-Atlantic World Series All-Tournament Team, and 2020 Perfect Game U17 Mid-Atlantic World Series All-Tournament Team. As a junior, Fischer led Hunterdon Central with a .397 average, .479 on-base percentage, seven home runs, and 28 RBIs. He earned First-Team All-State Group 4 and Second-Team All-State for all public schools.
William Gallagher – RHP/Cranford, NJ/Cranford
Gallagher was a four-year starter at Cranford High School. On the mound, he produced an 8-1 record and at the plate he hit .385 last season on his way to First-Team All-County and First-Team All-Conference honors. In addition, Gallagher was a member of the 2020 Last Dance World Series Champions.
Jared Greenzang – RHP/Titusville, NJ/Hopewell Valley Central
Greenzang was a pitcher for Hopewell Valley Central High School. Although he battled through injuries, he helped the team win a county championship last season.
Erich Hartmann – OF/Medford, NJ/Shawnee
Hartmann was an everyday starter in the outfield junior year for Shawnee High School and hit .380 with an OBP of .500. He earned First-Team All-Conference on his way to earning a Carpenter Cup selection in the 2021 season and played as a starter in the outfield for the South Jersey Young Guns National team.
AJ Labrusciano – SS/RHP/Fredericksburg, VA/North Stafford
A four-year starter at North Stafford High School, Labrusciano earned First-Team All-District honors as both a shortstop and pitcher following his junior season on his way to being named the District Player of the Year. He closed out the season with a team-high .525 batting average, while maintaining a 0.64 ERA on the mound. Labrsciano was then selected to play in the Virginia Commonwealth State Games.
Colby McNeely – Folsom, PA/The Haverford School
McNeely earned Second-Team All-Conference, Second-Team All-Main Line, and Second-Team All-Delco honors at The Haverford School. In addition, McNeely is a member of the Signet Society.
Christopher Montone – RHP/Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown
Montone went 5-0 with a 2.39 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 44 innings for Williamstown. Montone was rewarded for his season with a spot on the Carpenter Cup roster. He earned First-Team All-South Jersey honors from both the Courier Post and South Jersey Sports Zone. NJ.com named Montone First-Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-Group 4.
Anthony Paskell – OF/Solon, OH/St. Ignatius
Paskell was the St. Ignatius Rookie of the Year in 2021 after batting .343 with a .435 on-base percentage. He stole 17 bases and led the team with a .557 slugging percentage and .992 OPS in 25 games. A team captain for the 2022 season, Paskell is a Baseball Factory All-Region honoree in 2020 and 21 and Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-American in 2021 and 22.
Clayton Poliey – RHP/Ringwood, NJ/Don Bosco Prep
Poliey was a three-year starter at Don Bosco Prep. In the Freshman County Finals, Poliey tossed a perfect game to earn his team the championship. A member of the nation's 14
th-ranked team, Poliey allowed just four earned run in eight starts in 2021.
Aaron Winzinger – RHP/East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown
Winzinger has been a three-year varsity player at Hightstown High School. During his junior year, he earned a Coach's Award, First-Team All-CVC honors, and was selected for the Mercer County Carpenter Cup team, which reached the tournament finals. He has played travel ball for Baseball U, earned several Perfect Game All-Tournament Team selections in 2020 and 2021, and is ranked as a national top 500 player by Perfect Game.
