NEWARK, DE – The Rider University men's swimming and diving team split a pair of duals as part of a tri-meet against Delaware and La Salle Saturday afternoon. The Broncs topped the Explorers 202-94 and lost to the Blue Hens 168-129. The Broncs now sit at 4-1 on the season, while the Explorers are 0-4 and Blue Hens are 5-0
The Bronc men won five events in the meet.
Kyle Iorizzo (Norwood, NJ/Old Tappan Regional) earned the first Bronc victory of the day with a time of 9:37.28.
Lucas Racevicius (Watertown, CT/Holy Cross) swam 50.47 to win the 100-back. Racevicius also took the 200-back, going one-two with
David Rucci (Sewell, NJ/Gateway Regional) touching the wall at 1:51.97 and 1:52.59. Rucci would go on to win the 200-IM in 1:55.57.
David Cooper (Spring, TX/Klein Oak) swam 2:06.19 to win the 200-breast.
