What You Need To Know
- The Broncs were swept by Fairfield last weekend, 70-59 and 66-45.
- Makayla Firebaugh scored a season-high 19 points on Jan. 2 against Fairfield and has scored in double-figures a team-high six times this season.
- Rider earned its first win of the season on Dec. 23 at NJIT, 57-53. Maya Hyacienth (20) and Daija Moses (15) scored career highs, while Makayla Firebaugh added 11 points and a season-high seven rebounds.
- For their efforts at NJIT, Hyacienth and Firebaugh were named MAAC Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.
- Though Siena owns a 33-16 edge in the all-time series, Rider has won the last four meetings, including regular-season sweeps in each of the last two years.
- Raphaela Toussaint posted her first-career double-double on Dec. 19 at Iona with 11 points and 12 rebounds. 
- Rider graduated six seniors, including Honorable Mention All-American and recent WNBA rookie Stella Johnson (Washington Mystics), who was the 2019-20 NCAA Division I scoring champion (24.8 ppg.).
