Raphaela Toussaint (Kingston, Ontario/Lincoln Prep) recorded her second career double-double thanks to a 14-point, 11-rebound performance, but it was not enough as the Rider University women's basketball fell on the road to Siena, 69-60, on Sunday afternoon in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play.
The Saints (2-2, 2-2 MAAC) pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Broncs (1-12, 0-8 MAAC) 38-30 over the final 20 minutes.
After taking a one-point lead at 31-30 into halftime, Siena forced nine Rider turnovers and held the guests to 37 percent shooting (3-of-8) to stretch the lead to eight heading into the final quarter.
The Saint lead would swell to as many as 14 late in the fourth quarter. The Broncs battled to the final whistle in the hard-fought battle.

Daija Moses (Toronto, Ontario/Henry Street) was the other Bronc in double figures as she tied a career-high with 15 points.
