LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Rider University Athletics' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) announced its annual "ESPY's" Wednesday, celebrating the best in Rider Athletics for the 2019-20 academic year. The following were the award winners:

Courage/Inspiration Award - Emmanuel Kouma, Men's Soccer

Best Play – Amari Johnson, Women's Basketball – buzzer beater to defeat Monmouth on March 7 and clinch the Broncs' first-ever MAAC Regular Season Championship.

Best International Student-Athlete – Sylvain Coco, Men's Soccer

Female Rookie of the Year – Morgan Romano, Volleyball

Men's Rookie of the Year – Sam Aviles, Men's Track & Field

Best Career – Male – Jesse Dellavecchia, Wrestling

Best Career – Female – Stella Johnson, Women's Basketball

Best Team Upset – Wrestling – November 15 win at nationally-ranked No. 6 Minnesota

Mr. Bronc Award – Ryan Cloud, Wrestling

Ms. Bronc Award – Stella Johnson, Women's Basketball

Best Team – Women's Track & Field

Best Championship Performance – Jesse Dellavecchia, Wrestling

Team Community Service Award – Volleyball
