EDISON, NJ – The Rider University baseball team had nine student-athletes represented on the MAAC All-Academic Team, the league office today announced. To be eligible, student-athletes must achieve a 3.2 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale and have completed at least two semesters at their institution.
Tyler Stockwell (La Plata, MD/La Plata) was honored for the third-straight year, while
Jake Barbiere (Randolph, NJ/Randolph),
Zach Fick (South Elgin, IL/St. Charles North),
Liam Harding (Staten Island, NY/St. Peter's Boys),
Lou Priolo (Voorhees, NJ/Eastern) and
Chris Roan (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) each took the honor for the second-straight season. Sophomores
David Bermudez (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick),
Frank DelGuercio (Millstone, NJ/The Hun School of Princeton) and
Kyle Smith (Stratford, NJ/Sterling) were each honored in their first year's of eligibility for the award.
