Men's Basketball Announces Five Fall NLI Signees

Five freshmen sign NLI's to join Broncs in 2020-21

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University Men's Basketball Head Coach Kevin Baggett has announced the signings of five student-athletes to National Letters of Intent. Corey McKeithan (Windsor, CT/Windsor), Nehemiah Benson (Streetsboro, OH/Lutheran East), Jordan Smalls (Jonesboro, GA/Eagle's Landing Christian Academy), Jaelen McGlone (Cheltenham, PA/Cheltenham) and Lawrence Foreman (Kingston, Jamaica/Woodstock Academy) will join the Broncs next season.

"We've very excited to be bringing in some talented players," said Baggett. "They're freshmen and there's a lot to be learned. But we think they'll all have great careers at Rider."

Corey McKeithan
6'1" Guard
Windsor, CT/Windsor High School
- Four-time All-Conference
- Three-time All-State
- 1,965 career points
- Averaged 25 points per game
- Led AAU-Under Armour in steals this past year

Nehemiah Benson
6'6" Forward
Streetsboro, OH/Lutheran East High School
- Averaged 21.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in his senior year
- First Team All-State and First Team All-District as a senior
- Scored 60 points and had 10 rebounds in three quarters of a game this season

Jordan Smalls
6'6" Forward
Jonesboro, GA/Eagle's Landing Christian Academy
- Averaged 14.2 points and 5.2 rebounds as a senior
- Shot 41 percent from long range
- Had five games of 20 or more points
- First Team All-Region
- Played for 2019-20 State Runner-Up and two-time Region Champs

Jaelen McGlone
6'4" Guard
Cheltenham, PA/Cheltenham High School
- First Team All-State and First Team All Area as a senior
- Led Cheltenham to a Suburban One Championship
- MVP of the Jameer Nelson Classic and Tip-Off Tournament
- Second Team All-Area as a junior
 
Lawrence Foreman
6'9" Forward
Kingston, Jamaica/Woodstock Academy
- Averaged 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in a prep year at Woodstock Academy
- Played his senior year at Windsor (CT) High School, averaging 10.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game.
