The Broncs stretched their lead to two at 3-1 in the fourth as John Volpe () brought Johnson racing home with a single to center.

On the bump, Frank Doelling (Riverside, NJ/Riverside) tossed seven innings to pick up his second win of the season. Vincent Vitacco (Staten Island, NY/Monsignor Farrell) worked the final inning and a third to pick up his first save of the year.
