- Rider had a three-game winning streak snapped Sunday at Monmouth.Â
- Rider leads the all-time series with Canisius, 36-15. The Golden Griffins have won the last two meetings - 81-80, on a banked three-pointer with 7.9 seconds left by Jonathan Sanks to snap Rider's program-record-tying 17-game home winning streak on Feb. 8, 2019, and a 95-86 win this past Jan. 19 in Buffalo.Â
- Canisius is led by Malik Johnson at 13.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.2 steals per game. Majesty Brandon (13.0 ppg.) is close behind, while Scott Hitchon (9.8 ppg.) just misses double figures. Four others average between 7.0 and 9.2 ppg.
