What You Need To Know
- Rider has fallen in its last two at Iona and Saint Peter's.
- Monmouth has won its last two - an overtime win at Marist and an 89-78 victory at home over Quinnipiac.Â
- RU leads the all-time series with Monmouth, 30-23. Monmouth won this season's first meeting on Feb. 2 in West Long Branch and Rider is looking to split the season series with the Hawks for the fourth-straight year.
- Monmouth features one of the league's top backcourt duos in Deion Hammond (15.7 ppg.) and Ray Salnave (14.4 ppg., 3.1 apg.). George Papas (8.7 ppg.) scored 21 points in the first meeting, beginning a seven-game stretch in which he's averaged 13.9 ppg. Mustapha Traore (7.1 ppg., 5.4 rpg.) has also made a strong contribution, while Samuel Chaput has dished out a team-best 3.3 apg.

Dimencio Vaughn led the Broncs with 24 points, eight rebounds, four steals and three blocks in defeat at league-leading Saint Peter's on Feb. 23.

Tyere Marshall posted his team-leading fifth double-double of the year at Iona on Feb. 21 with 22 points and 14 rebounds.Â
- Rider is the MAAC's most veteran squad, with its most-experienced combination of players accounting for 522 games played and 381 games started. Monmouth is second at 520 games played and 320 starts.
