What You Need To Know
- Rider has fallen in its first three games this season at Villanova and at home against Drexel and Army West Point.
- Rider was awarded the MAAC Tournament trophy after earning the top seed in the MAAC Basketball Championships for the first time in program history last season. The Broncs set new program records in overall (26) and league (18) wins.
- Rider graduated six seniors, including Honorable Mention All-American and recent WNBA rookie Stella Johnson (Washington Mystics), who was the 2019-20 NCAA Division I scoring champion (24.8 ppg.).
- Rider's top returner is junior point guard Amanda Mobley (13.7 ppg.), a Preseason All-MAAC Second Team pick. She's scored a team-high 14 points at Villanova and against Army West Point, along with 13 points against Drexel.
- Rider owns a 4-0 edge in the all-time series with Delaware State, including a 71-69 overtime victory on a last-second Lea Favre bucket last Dec. 30 in Dover.  
- The Broncs were picked seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
