Christian Ings (Philadelphia, PA/Neumann-Goretti) led the Rider University men's basketball team with 15 points and four assists, but the Broncs fell at Manhattan, 87-77, Saturday night at Draddy Gym. With the loss, the Broncs (1-3, 1-1 MAAC) and Jaspers (1-1, 1-1 MAAC) split the weekend series.
A back-and-forth first half that featured 14 lead changes and nine ties concluded with Manhattan on top, 44-41. The Jaspers shot 66.7 percent (18-27) to the Broncs' 50.0 percent (15-30).
