What You Need To Know
- Rider has fallen in its first two games this season at Villanova and against Drexel.
- In addition to Wednesday's ESPN+ broadcast, 107.7 The Bronc will begin broadcasting all Rider men's and women's basketball games for the remainder of this season.
- Rider was awarded the MAAC Tournament trophy after earning the top seed in the MAAC Basketball Championships for the first time in program history last season. The Broncs set new program records in overall (26) and league (18) wins.
- Rider graduated six seniors, including Honorable Mention All-American and recent WNBA rookie Stella Johnson (Washington Mystics), who was the 2019-20 NCAA Division I scoring champion (24.8 ppg.).
- Rider's top returner is junior point guard Amanda Mobley (13.5 ppg.), a Preseason All-MAAC Second Team pick. She scored a team-high 14 points at Villanova and 13 points against Drexel.
- Rider owns a 4-3 edge in the all-time series with Army, including a 2-1 record under Head Coach Lynn Milligan. Army won the last meeting on Nov. 29, 2015.
- Army has split its first two games, both at home, falling to Hofstra before beating Iona.
- The Broncs were picked seventh in the MAAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
