What You Need To Know
- RU has lost its last two games at Quinnipiac and at home to Iona.
- Tyere Marshall went for 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Christian Ings scored a season-high 14 points last time out against Iona.
- Rider and Marist have already met this season, with the Broncs taking a 74-64 win in Lawrenceville on Dec. 16. Stevie Jordan led Rider with 23 points and six steals, while Tyere Marshall added 19 points and nine rebounds.
- The Broncs lead the all-time series with Marist, 37-24, including wins in each of the last seven meetings.
- The Red Foxes defeated Fairfield, 70-58, on the road on Wednesday. Tyler Saint-Furcy led Marist with 17 points, including 4-of-5 three-point shooting.
- Marist is led by Michael Cubbage at 9.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Matt Herasme (9.8 ppg.) and Matt Turner (9.1 ppg.) are close behind, as is Tyler Sagl at 8.4 points per game. 
- Rider connected on 37-of-48 free-throw attempts against Marist on Dec. 16. The 48 attempts tied for most by a Rider team since Feb. 26, 1999 (50 vs. Manhattan).
- Rider has outrebounded its opponent in 11-of-14 games this season.
- Tyere Marshall has a team-leading four double-doubles this season. 
- Stevie Jordan (534 assists) moved into 3rd all-time at Rider on Nov. 20 at UMass.
- Jordan projects to be the Broncs' all-time leader in assists (598) and steals (188).
- Rider was picked to finish second in the MAAC after finishing tied for second in the regular season standings a year ago.
- Tyere Marshall, Frederick Scott and Dimencio Vaughn are all on pace to score their 1,000th point this season, and would join senior Stevie Jordan as the 38th, 39th and 40th Broncs to score 1,000 career points. Vaughn (985) needs 15 points, while Scott (963) is 37 points away and Marshall (967) needs 33 more points.
- Eighth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 131-110 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Baggett tied Kevin Bannon for third all-time at Rider with his 131st victory on Jan. 5. Only John Carpenter (292) and Thomas Leyden (187) have more wins.
