Box Score LOUDONVILLE, NY – Sarah Cheverie (Calgary, Alberta, Canada/National Sport School [Montana State]) and Angelica Garcia (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Academia Maria Reina) each won a singles match to advance to the consolation semifinals as the Rider University women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Siena Invitational Saturday.

Cheverie earned an 8-2 victory over Lafayette's Emma Menkowitz, before falling in the consolation semifinals to Hofstra's Jasmine King, 8-6. Garcia was an 8-6 winner over Lafayette's Melanie Sparhawk, before falling to Colgate's Nicole Condas in a tiebreaker, 7-6.

The Broncs return to action Thursday, Sept. 19, when they play host to St. Francis Brooklyn. Matches are set to begin at 1 p.m.
