SOUTH KENT, CT –
Jake Sollon (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) shot a one-under 71 to finish eight under for the tournament and place third, while the Rider University men's golf team shot 294 Tuesday to finish fourth at the Hartford Hawks Invitational at Bulls Bridge Golf Club. Sollon shot under par in all three rounds of the tournament. Rider shot 862 (-2) for the tournament, good for a new program record three-round score.
UCF took the team title at 840 (-24), while TCU (856, -8) and Seton Hall (861, -3) finished second and third, respectively. Seton Hall's Wenliang Xie (206, -10) took the individual title, a stroke ahead of Fairleigh Dickinson's Melan Dhaubhadel (207, -9) and two ahead of Sollon (208, -8).

Connor Bekefi (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) finished the tournament at 218 (+2), Rider's second-best score, to finish tied for 22
nd.
Nathan Bazant (Venetia, PA/Trinity [California (PA)]) shot 75 Tuesday to finish the tournament at 219 (+3), tied for 28
th.
Austin Devereux (Brielle, NJ/Manasquan) shot 78 today and finished a stroke back of Bazant (220, +4, T-31
st).

- The Broncs' 278 in Monday's middle round shaved 10 strokes off the previous program record, established two years ago at the Hartford Hawks Invitational.
- After shooting under or even par four times last season, the Broncs' 2018-19 stroke average leader, Sollon, already has five rounds under par in six rounds played this season.
- Sollon has now finished in the top three individually in consecutive tournaments after finishing second at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational last weekend.
- Sollon now has a stroke average of 70.5 through six rounds this season.
- Rider was one of two MAAC schools competing, along with Fairfield (889, +25).
