WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Heading into the season, the team selected Tess Coorens, Jade Freeberg, Heili Carpino and Lena Vandam as their captains for the 2019 campaign.

- The Broncs will play eight home games at Ben Cohen Field in 2019. The team is 1-1 in front of their home crowd this season.

- Last time out, sophomore Carly Brosious scored two goals and added an assist as Rider defeated Drexel, 3-1, on the road in Philadelphia. It marked Rider's first win against Drexel since 1995.

- On Monday, junior Lena Vandam was named the NEC Defensive Player of the Week. Last week, she turned aside seven shots as Rider defeated visiting La Salle, 2-1, in double overtime. The only goal she gave up against the Explorers came on a penalty stroke. Versus the Dragons, she made four saves and earned her 21st career victory.

- Julia Divorra was also recognized as an NEC Prime Performer on Monday. She has scored in back-to-back games for the Broncs, including a marker on Tuesday at Drexel. Divorra and Brosious are tied for the team lead with two goals apiece.

- Freshman Kiki van Ommeren has recorded a point in back-to-back games for Rider. She scored her first career goal against La Salle before picking up an assist versus Drexel on Tuesday.

- Rider and Georgetown have split their 12 meetings in the series history with each team winning six times. The Broncs have had the edge of late, winning each of the last five meetings. Rider has registered three straight shutouts against the Hoyas, during that stretch, the Broncs have outscored Georgetown, 10-0.

- Rider leads the all-time series with Colgate, 13-12. The Broncs have won eight of the last nine meetings in the series, but the Raiders were victorious, 2-1, last October.

- Head Coach Lori Hussong is in her 20th season at the helm of the program in 2019. She has a career record of 251-129. She is the winningest coach in program history and earlier this season she became the 15th active Division I Field Hockey Head Coach with 250 or more wins.
