WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Rider hosts Lafayette on Tuesday, April 30, in a non-conference contest that will take place on campus at Sonny Pittaro Field. First pitch is slated for 3:30 pm as the Broncs are looking to end a nine-game skid. Rider and Lafayette have split each of their last four meetings with the Leopards taking last season's game, 9-8, in Flemington, New Jersey in late February. The Broncs have defeated Lafayette four straight times on campus dating back to the 2008 season.

- Over the weekend, Rider was swept in a three-game Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) series against Quinnipiac. On Monday, the Bobcats topped the Broncs, 15-4.

- In the three-game set with QU, freshman infielder David Bermudez hit .500 (5-for-10) with three RBIs, one run scored and one stolen base. Entering the week, he had one career multi-hit game and he recorded two games with two or more hits in the league series.

- Offensively, Riley Mihalik and Sebastian Williamson are pacing the Rider attack this season. They are the only two Bronc everyday starters hitting over .300 this season. They are tied for the team-lead with 49 hits apiece. Mihalik has hit a career-high nine home runs to go along with a career-best 33 RBIs. He now has 25 homers in his career and 117 RBIs. Williamson had three hits in the team's last game at Quinnipiac. He leads the team with 11 stolen bases this year.

- Freshman southpaw Colin Eiser is slated to get the start on the bump for the Broncs. He is 0-1 this season with a 5.17 ERA in 31.1 innings of work. Tuesday will mark his seventh start of the season. On the year, he has struck out 22 hitters and opponents are hitting .237 against him. Eiser has gone five or more innings in two starts this year.
