What You Need To Know
- Siena leads the all-time series with Rider, 32-17, including a 59-57 win on Feb. 10 at Alumni Gym. Rider has not faced the Saints in their home arena since Jan. 17, 2017, a 78-68 Saints win. Siena has won the last four meetings in Albany, with the Broncs' last win coming on Dec. 7, 2012. Rider and Siena last met in the MAAC Championships in 2010, when the top-seeded Saints defeated #5 Rider in the semifinals. Rider is 0-3 in the MAAC Championships vs. Siena.
- The Broncs have never been the No. 4 seed in the MAAC Championships and are 1-3 in the No. 4 vs. No. 5 quarterfinal game as the No. 5 seed.
- Rider has fallen in the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of the last eight years. The last time the Broncs advanced to the semifinals was 2011.
- Stevie Jordan and Frederick Scott repeated as All-MAAC selections, with Jordan earning his Second Team and Scott being named to the Third Team.
- Jordan Allen knocked down 6-of-9 three-point attempts and scored 23 points in the Broncs regular-season finale at Marist on March 3.
- Stevie Jordan now ranks 5th all-time in assists at Rider with 472. He also ranks 34th in scoring (1,093) and his 144 steals rank eighth in program history.   
- Rider ranks eighth nationally at 9.2 steals per game. 
- The Broncs have been outscored by 23 points combined in the first halves of 18 MAAC games. By comparison, Rider is +92 in the second halves.  
- Siena has been consistent regardless of where its games have been played, posting a 7-7 record at home, a 8-7 mark on the road and going 1-1 on neutral courts. The Saints closed out the regular season with a 72-65 overtime win at Niagara.
- 11-time MAAC Rookie of the Week and All-MAAC First Teamer Jalen Pickett has led the Saints, who were picked to finish last in the MAAC, to tie for second place. Pickett has averaged 15.7 points, 6.7 assists and 2.1 steals per game. Evan Fisher has matched Pickett at 15.7 points per game, while adding 6.0 rebounds per game. Kevin Degnan (8.9 ppg., 6.0 rpg.) and Sloan Seymour (8.8 ppg.) have also made strong contributions.
- The Broncs returned all five starters, their top six scorers and 95 percent of their scoring from last year's team.
