Quotes & Notes
"This is a wake-up call for our guys. Whether they won or lost tonight each one of them has to improve before the conference tournament in March."

"I give Lock Haven credit. They had a good game plan at most weights and were able to slow the matches down."

"We need to do a better job at putting our opponents in bad positions and creating more scoring opportunities. We can't feel sorry for ourselves as we turn right around and wrestle Bloomsburg Sunday." – Rider Head Coach John Hangey

- Anthony Cefolo (Florham Park, NJ/Hanover Park Regional) saw a seven-match winning streak snapped today. He'd registered four pins in that stretch.
- The losses were the first of the EWL slate for Cefolo, Jonathan Tropea (Harrington Park, NJ/Saint Joseph Montvale), Travis Layton (Woodstown, NJ/Woodstown), Gino Fluri (Blairstown, NJ/North Warren Regional), Jesse Dellavecchia (Great River, NY/East Islip) and Michale Fagg-Daves (Somerset, NJ/Franklin).
- Laird's win was his 15th of the year, good for second on the team behind Dellavecchia's 19.
- The Broncs return to action Sunday, when they travel to Bloomsburg. Matches are slated to begin at 1 p.m.
