What You Need To Know
- Rider and Niagara are meeting for the 49th time, with the Broncs holding a 26-22 edge in the series. The Broncs and Purple Eagles met on Jan. 13 in Western New York, a game Rider won, 104-84.
- RU has won two straight with wins over Monmouth and Saint Peter's.
- Tyere Marshall has double-doubles in two-straight with 17 points and 10 rebounds against Monmouth and a career-high 25 points to go along with 14 rebounds at Saint Peter's. He has a team-best three double-doubles on the year.
- Rider ranks 10th nationally at 9.1 steals per game. 
- Though Rider has trailed by double-digits in regulation of seven of 15 MAAC games and trailed at the half in eight of 15, the Broncs have erased the deficit in all eight and won four of the eight. 
- Stevie Jordan now ranks 5th all-time in assists at Rider with 452. He also scored his 1,000th point on Feb. 12 at Quinnipiac and his 136 steals rank tied for ninth in program history.   
- RU has outscored MAAC opponents by 7.1 points per game in the paint.
- Head Coach Kevin Baggett (121-102) passed former mentor Tommy Dempsey (119-105) for fifth all-time at Rider on Feb. 15 with his 120th career win. Next on the list are Don Harnum (127-103) and Kevin Bannon (128-103). 
- Rider had six players score in double figures in a single game twice in a four-game span, Jan. 13-27, after not achieving the feat since Feb. 16, 2011.
- The Broncs have been outscored by 44 points combined in the first halves of 15 MAAC games. By comparison, Rider is +93 in the second halves.  
- Niagara snapped a four-game losing skid with a win over Fairfield on Sunday.
- Marvin Prochet leads NU at 16.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game and 45.1 percent from long range. James Towns has added 11.3 points and a team-high 3.9 assists per game, while Dominic Robb also averages in double figures (10.6 ppg.) to go along with 5.3 rebounds and a MAAC-best 2.2 blocks per game.
- The Broncs returned all five starters, their top six scorers and 95 percent of their scoring from last year's team.
- Seventh-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 121-102 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
