Quotes & Notes
"We're starting to play better. Guys are sharing the ball. We're defending a little better, shooting the ball a little better. We're just playing better as a team and I think all that comes with guys exhaling now that we were able to get a win the other night and just going back to who we are."
"I was always confident. We've been through this before. I've been through it before as a coach. It's just a matter of saying, 'hey fellas, we've been here. Let's get better, let's continue to pull together.' Once we won one, we knew that we have a chance to continue to win some more."
"If we can go inside and have a presence in the paint, the sky is the limit for us. We're starting to make some more shots. We can play inside-out. Teams have been packing it in on us because we haven't been making shots. But when we can get it inside to Tyere and he can make those shots and play into his strengths, we're going to be hard to beat."
– Rider Head Coach Kevin Baggett
"We're getting back on track, but we're just trying to stay focused. We know what we're capable of. We're just going to try to stay focused and try to carry it on."
"Actually, my sneaks ripped. I had to change shoes. It was crazy before the game. I couldn't even warm up. I had to find sneaks. I had to do so much before the game. (The shoes I wore) were in the manager's bag and these aren't even my size – I were size 13 ½ and these are 15. So, I didn't even play in my size. I just had to try to play with them."
"It helps us when I contribute. When you're got an inside presence, it helps everybody else. It makes it easier for the wings. And then, when they're focusing on me, I try to distribute to the wings and get them open shots."
