What You Need To Know
- Rider and Saint Peter's are meeting for the 67th time in the all-time series, with the Broncs holding a 36-30 edge. The Broncs have won the last three regular-season meetings, but the Peacocks beat Rider in the 2018 MAAC Quarterfinals.
- RU snapped a five-game losing skid with an 81-72 win over Monmouth Friday.
- Tyere Marshall posted his second double-double of the year vs. Monmouth on Feb. 15. He and Frederick Scott are the team leaders with two double-doubles.
- Rider ranks 11th nationally at 9.2 steals per game. 
- Though Rider has trailed by double-digits in regulation of seven of 14 MAAC games and trailed at the half in eight of 14, the Broncs have erased the deficit in all eight and won four of the eight. 
- Stevie Jordan now ranks 5th all-time in assists at Rider with 450. He also scored his 1,000th point on Feb. 12 at Quinnipiac and has also moved into the top 10 in steals in program history with 135.   
- RU has outscored MAAC opponents by 8.7 points per game in the paint.
- Head Coach Kevin Baggett (120-102) passed former mentor Tommy Dempsey (119-105) for fifth all-time at Rider on Feb. 15 with his 120th career win. Next on the list are Don Harnum (127-103) and Kevin Bannon (128-103). 
- Rider had six players score in double figures in a single game twice in a four-game span, Jan. 13-27, after not achieving the feat since Feb. 16, 2011.
- The Broncs have been outscored by 47 points combined in the first halves of 14 MAAC games. By comparison, Rider is +90 in the second halves.  
- SPU has lost its last six games, including a 62-46 setback Friday at Iona.
- Saint Peter's is led by Davauhnte Turner at 16.6 points and 2.7 assists per game, while Samuel Idowu also averages in double figures at 11.3 points per game on a team-best 52.7 percent from the floor. He's also blocked 1.9 shots per game.
- The Broncs returned all five starters, their top six scorers and 95 percent of their scoring from last year's team.
- Seventh-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 120-102 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
