WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- All regular-season home games in 2018-19 will be carried on either ESPN3 or ESPN+. Road games only will be carried on 107.7 The Bronc. No radio broadcasts for home games will be provided. Jeff Nolan will be on the call for Sunday's tilt at Quinnipiac.
- Rider and Quinnipiac are playing for the 14th time in the all-time series with the Bobcats winning each of the previous 13 meetings. The first meeting between the pair came back during the 2012-13 campaign. The Bobcats have eliminated the Broncs from each of the last two MAAC Tournaments, including a victory in the 2017 MAAC Championship game.
- Last time out, four different Broncs scored in double figures as Rider defeated Marist, 68-58, in Poughkeepsie. It marked the second win in the last three seasons for the Broncs at Marist. Rider forced 23 Red Fox turnovers in the game and shot over 47 percent from the floor. The Broncs were dominant in the paint, scoring 38 points and outrebounding Marist, 33-25.
- This season, Rider is 7-3 in true road games and a perfect 5-0 outside of Lawrenceville in conference contests. The Broncs are one of three teams in the MAAC (Quinnipiac and Marist) with seven wins on the road this year. Quinnipiac, Marist and Rider are the only three teams in the MAAC with a winning record on the road in 2018-19 as well. The average margin of victory for Rider on the road in conference play this is season is over eight points.
- Rider is 7-1 in MAAC play this year. The Broncs are off to their best eight-game start in conference play since joining the MAAC. The previous best eight-game stretch to open a season in league action for Rider was 6-2 which the team did during their historic 2016-17 campaign. Rider is currently one of three teams with seven or more MAAC wins this season.
- Four different Broncs scored in double figures in the win at Marist. Juniors
Stella Johnson and
Lea Favre led the attack with 18 points apiece, while senior point guard
Lexi Posset and junior
Amari Johnson poured in 15 points apiece. The quartet accounted for 66 of Rider's 68 points and shot a combined 55.8 percent (24-of-43) from the field. It was the second time this season that the Broncs had four players score in double figures in a game.

Amari Johnson recorded her second career double-double last time out at Marist. Amari scored 15 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds. Fourteen of her boards came on the defensive end and she added one blocked shot, while playing a career-high 39 minutes. Both of her double-doubles this season have come in conference play. The Broncs have won both of those games.
- Rider had 38 points in the paint in the victory at Marist. The Broncs outscored the Red Foxes by 18 (38-20) in the paint in the win. The 38 points in the paint tied a season-high for the Broncs as they also scored 38 in a win over Mount St. Mary's. It marked the sixth time this year that Rider has scored 30 or more points in the paint.
- Rider closed the contest at Marist by shooting over 63 percent (7-of-11) from the field over the final 10 minutes of action. The Broncs outscored the Red Foxes, 23-20, to hold on for a 10-point win. Rider also hit 8-of-10 free-throw attempts during the fourth quarter last time out. It marked the second time in conference play this year that Rider has shot over 60 percent in the final quarter.
