- Though Rider has trailed by double-digits in four of seven MAAC games and trailed at the half in five of eight, the Broncs have erased the deficit in all five and won four of the five.
- Head Coach Kevin Baggett (119-97) tied former mentor Tommy Dempsey for fifth all-time at Rider on Jan. 31 with his 119th career win (119-105). Next on the list are Don Harnum (127-103) and Kevin Bannon (128-103).

- RU has outscored MAAC opponents by 11.0 points per game in the paint.
- Rider ranks 13th nationally at 9.1 steals per game.
- The Broncs have been outscored by 43 points combined in the first halves of eight MAAC games. By comparison, Rider is +91 in the second halves.
- After being swept in Western New York last weekend, Monmouth defeated Siena, 66-55, on Thursday. The Hawks are 5-0 at home in league play.
- Ray Salnave and Deion Hammond lead Monmouth at 12.6 points per game each. However, Salnave is suspended and not expected to play. Hammond is averaging 15.5 points in league play, shooting 42.6 percent from long range. Diago Quinn has also contributed 8.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
- The Broncs returned all five starters, their top six scorers and 95 percent of their scoring from last year's team.
