What You Need To Know
- Rider has won five straight over Columbia, Vermont, Bucknell, LIU and Marist.
- At 7-2, Rider is off to its best nine-game start since going 8-1 to begin 1997-98.
- Rider opened MAAC play with a 74-64 win over Marist on Monday.Â
 - Temple lost a 78-77 heartbreaker to Miami, Tuesday in Brooklyn. The Owls are 3-1 this season at home, with wins over Drexel, Morgan State and Saint Joseph's. The lone loss came to Missouri.
- Quinton Rose leads Temple at 14.6 points and 3.6 assists per game, while Nate Pierre-Louis has posted 12.1 points and a team-best 9.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. Alani Moore II also averages in double figures at 10.1 points per game.
- The Broncs and Owls are meeting for the first time since 1995-96. Temple has won the last six since a 1975 East Coast Conference Playoff victory for Rider.
- Rider connected on 37-of-48 free-throw attempts against Marist. The 48 attempts are tied for most by a Rider team since Feb. 26, 1999 (50 vs. Manhattan).
- Rider was outrebounded (29-28) for the first time this season last time out.
- The Broncs saw three players post double-doubles in the same game for the first time since Jan. 30, 1996 in Rider's Dec. 14 win over LIU.
