What You Need To Know
- Rider plays its home opener following an eight-day break in the schedule. The Broncs defeated Vermont, 72-67, on Nov. 24 to earn the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament Springfield Bracket Championship.
- RU used second-half runs of 17-0 and 25-0 to win two games in the tournament. 
- Bucknell has earned wins this season over Fairfield, Hofstra and Seattle, while falling last time out on Saturday against Princeton.
- Bucknell features five players averaging in double figures, led by Jimmy Sotos at 12.4 ppg. Sotos has also distributed a team-best 3.8 assists per game. Avi Toomer (12.2 ppg.), Bruce Moore (10.9 ppg.), Andrew Funk (10.7 ppg.) and John Meeks (10.3 ppg.) also average in double figures.
- Tyere Marshall was named MAAC Player of the Week on Nov. 25 after averaging 21.0 points and 14.3 rebounds against UMass, Columbia and Vermont.
- Stevie Jordan is the lone Bronc to have scored in double figures in every game.
- Rider has outrebounded its opponent in all six games played this season. 
- Frederick Scott posted his second double-double of the season with 25 points and 13 rebounds against Vermont. Scott and Marshall lead RU with two each.
- Jordan (504 assists) moved into 3rd all-time at Rider on Nov. 20 at UMass.
- Jordan projects to be the Broncs' all-time leader in assists (598) and steals (188).
- Rider was picked to finish second in the MAAC after finishing tied for second in the regular season standings a year ago.
- Tyere Marshall, Frederick Scott and Dimencio Vaughn are all on pace to score their 1,000th point this season, and would join senior Stevie Jordan as the 38th, 39th and 40th Broncs to score 1,000 career points.
- Eighth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 127-106 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
- Baggett's most recent win tied Don Harnum for 4th all-time at Rider. Only Kevin Bannon (131), Thomas Leyden (187) and John Carpenter (292) have more.
