What You Need To Know
- Rider opened the season with consecutive wins at Coppin State and Delaware State, before falling consecutively at Arizona State and Massachusetts.
- The winner of Saturday's game will face the winner between Vermont and Central Connecticut on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. The losing teams will play at 6 p.m.
- The Broncs will face former Rider assistant Jim Engles, who's now Head Coach at Columbia. A Sunday meeting with another former Broncs assistant, Donyell Marshall (current CCSU Head Coach), is also possible. 
- Columbia is led by Mike Smith at 20.0 points and 5.0 assists per game. Smith is the only Lion currently averaging in double figures, while Ike Nweke has contributed 8.4 ppg. and a team-high 5.6 rebounds per game.
- Tyere Marshall had career highs in points (28) and rebounds (20) at UMass. Marshall is the first Bronc since Jason Thompson (07-08) to compile a 20-20 game.
- Stevie Jordan is the lone Bronc to have scored in double figures in every game.
- Jordan (495 assists) moved into 3rd all-time at Rider on Nov. 20 at UMass.
- Jordan projects to be the Broncs' all-time leader in assists (598) and steals (188).
- After averaging 17.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in wins at Coppin State and Delaware State, Frederick Scott was named MAAC Player of the Week on Nov. 11.
- Frederick Scott (21), Dimencio Vaughn (21) and Tyere Marshall (20) all scored at least 20 points at Coppin State. Scott and Vaughn posted double-doubles. Three Broncs hadn't scored 20 or more points since Dec. 8, 2013.  
- Rider was picked to finish second in the MAAC after finishing tied for second in the regular season standings a year ago.
- Tyere Marshall, Frederick Scott and Dimencio Vaughn are all on pace to score their 1,000th point this season, and would join senior Stevie Jordan as the 38th, 39th and 40th Broncs to score 1,000 career points.
- Eighth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 125-106 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
