What You Need To Know
- Rider opened the season with consecutive wins at Coppin State and Delaware State, before falling at Arizona State.
- UMass has won all nine meetings in the all-time series with Rider, most recently taking a 78-67 win on Dec. 22, 2016.
- UMass features balanced scoring, with five players averaging in double figures, led by Sean East II at 14.3 ppg.
- Stevie Jordan scored 13 of his team-high 15 points in the second half at Arizona State. He's now scored in double-figures in all three of Rider's games this season.
- Since going without a shot attempt in just six minutes in his collegiate debut, Christian Ings has scored in double-figures in consecutive games.
- After averaging 17.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in wins at Coppin State and Delaware State, Frederick Scott was named MAAC Player of the Week on Nov. 11.
- Frederick Scott (21), Dimencio Vaughn (21) and Tyere Marshall (20) all scored at least 20 points at Coppin State. Scott and Vaughn posted double-doubles. Three Broncs hadn't scored 20 or more points since Dec. 8, 2013.  
- Rider was picked to finish second in the MAAC after finishing tied for second in the regular season standings a year ago.
- The Broncs return four starters. Tyere Marshall, Frederick Scott and Dimencio Vaughn are all on pace to score their 1,000th point, and would join senior Stevie Jordan as the 38th, 39th and 40th Broncs to score 1,000 career points.
- Jordan also projects to be the Broncs' all-time leader in assists and steals by season's end. He currently has 486 career assists, good for fourth all-time. Deon Hames '96 is the Broncs' current all-time assists leader with 598. Meanwhile, Jordan currently has 153 steals, with Ryan Thompson '10 currently leading all Broncs with 188 career steals.
- Eighth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 125-105 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
