What You Need To Know
- Rider has opened the 2019-20 with a pair of victories over Coppin State and Delaware State. The last time Rider started 3-0 was 1971-72. 
- Rider and Arizona State have never met on the hardwood.
- The Broncs cruised to an 81-54 win at Delaware State on Dec. 8. Five Rider players scored in double figures, led by Frederick Scott with 13.
- After averaging 17.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in road wins at Coppin State and Delaware State, Frederick Scott was named MAAC Player of the Week.
- Following a loss to Colorado in China on Nov. 8, Arizona State defeated Central Connecticut, 90-49, on Thursday.
- Through two games, Rob Edwards leads the Sun Devils at 21.5 points per game, including 9-of-15 shooting from long range. Remy Martin is close behind at 18.5 points per game.
- After trailing by as many as 15 points in the first half at Coppin State, Rider shot 65.5 percent in the second half to take the 91-84 victory.
- Frederick Scott (21), Dimencio Vaughn (21) and Tyere Marshall (20) all scored at least 20 points at Coppin State. Scott and Vaughn posted double-doubles. Three Broncs hadn't scored 20 or more points since Dec. 8, 2013.  
- Rider was picked to finish second in the MAAC after finishing tied for second in the regular season standings a year ago.
- The Broncs return four starters. Tyere Marshall, Frederick Scott and Dimencio Vaughn are all on pace to score their 1,000th point, and would join senior Stevie Jordan as the 38th, 39th and 40th Broncs to score 1,000 career points.
- Jordan also projects to be the Broncs' all-time leader in assists and steals by season's end. He currently has 482 career assists, good for fourth all-time. Deon Hames '96 is the Broncs' current all-time assists leader with 598. Meanwhile, Jordan currently has 151 steals, with Ryan Thompson '10 currently leading all Broncs with 188 career steals.
