- Frederick Scott posted the Broncs' first double-double of the season at Fairfield with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Scott had six double-doubles a year ago.
- After averaging a 12.5 points per game advantage in the paint against MAAC opponents last year, the Broncs opened 2018-19 with a 58-38 advantage.

- The Bobcats are led by Cameron Young at 18.1 points and 1.7 steals per game. Rich Kelly (9.3 ppg., 4.6 apg.), Jacob Rigoni (9.0 ppg., 39.3 3ptFG%), Travis Atson (8.6 ppg.), Tyrese Williams (8.5 ppg.) and Kevin Marfo (7.4 ppg., 9.3 rpg.) have also made strong contributions.
- Frederick Scott averaged 19.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in being named to the Las Vegas Classic All-Tournament Team.
- Jordan Allen displaced Stevie Jordan as the third-fastest to 500 points in the last 26 years at Rider, reaching the plateau in his 38th game, Dec. 12 vs. Norfolk St.

- The Broncs returned all five starters, their top six scorers and 95 percent of their scoring from last year's team.
