What You Need To Know
- Rider and Quinnipiac are meeting for the 14th time. The Broncs have won the last six meetings and are 5-0 against the Bobcats at Alumni Gym.
- The Broncs pulled out an 83-82 MAAC opening win at Fairfield on Thursday. Rider led just twice - 2-0 and the final score - and erased a 17-point second-half deficit.
Tyere Marshall's baby hook with 5.9 seconds left was the game winner.  Â
- The win snapped Rider's three-game losing streak in MAAC openers.
- On Jan. 3 at Fairfield, Rider won for the first time this season when any of the following were true: Rider trailed at the half, made fewer than six three-pointers, allowed 80 or more points and an opponent shot over 50 percent.

Frederick Scott posted the Broncs' first double-double of the season at Fairfield with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Scott had six double-doubles a year ago.
- After averaging a 12.5 points per game advantage in the paint against MAAC opponents last year, the Broncs opened 2018-19 with a 58-38 advantage.Â
