EASTON, PA – The Rider University women's swimming and diving team closed out the dual-meet portion of their season with a 163-58 victory over host Lafayette on Saturday at Weinstein Natatorium.
The Broncs (4-5) have now won two of their last three dual meets.
It was a strong day for Rider as the team racked up 26 total top-three performances, highlighted by Broncs winning 11 separate events.
Freshmen
Kylie McMahon (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's) and
Kayla May (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) each won two individual events apiece for the guests. McMahon finished first overall in both the 100 fly (59.44) and the 200 IM (2:12.11), while May won the 200 free (1:59.24) and the 500 free (5:20.93).
The Broncs swept the diving events for the third dual meet in a row. Senior
Breanne Hatter (Lincroft, NJ/Middletown HS South) won the 3M with a mark of 265.28 and she came in second in the 1M at 230.11. Junior
Meg Tomayko (Murfreesboro, TN/Siegel) finished first in the 1M thanks to posting a score of 255.76 and she also ended up in second-place in the 3M with a mark of 263.63.

- The meet was the final dual meet for the Broncs this season.
- The four dual-meet wins on the year matched the team's total from the last two seasons combined.
- The four dual-meet wins are the most for the women since they won six times during the 2010-11 campaign.

Caylie Cardona won the 100 breast thanks to touching at 1:10.12.

Anastasia Aleksandrova landed in second-place in the 100 free with a time of 56.64.

Maeve Lersch was second in the 100 back with a time of 1:02.09.
