What You Need To Know
- Rider and Niagara are meeting for the 48th time, with the Broncs holding a 25-22 edge in the series. The Broncs and Purple Eagles played just once last season, a 99-76 Rider win on Dec. 31 at the Gallagher Center.
- Rider is 3-0 in MAAC play for the fourth time (2000-01, 2004-05, 2008-09, 2013-14). The lone Broncs team to go undefeated in MAAC play for longer than three games was the 2000-01 team, which won its first six.Â
- The Broncs earned three tight victories over Fairfield, Quinnipiac and Canisius. Rider has yet to lead at the half in MAAC play, trailing by double-digits to Fairfield and Canisius and being tied vs. Quinnipiac.
