WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Broncs have a pair of games this weekend, traveling to take on Hofstra in the Empire State on Friday afternoon before returning home for a meeting with regional rival Villanova on Sunday. Sunday's tilt with the Wildcats will be streamed live on ESPN+.

- Rider has won back-to-back games. The Broncs have shutout their opponents in each of their last two contests. Rider has held the opposition scoreless in all three of their wins this season.

- On Monday, sophomore goalkeeper Lena Vandam was honored as the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week. It was her first weekly accolade this fall and the fourth of her career. Vandam posted a pair of shutouts as the Broncs went 2-0 last week. She stopped all 10 shots she faced. She opened the week with four saves in a 2-0 road victory at Towson. Vandam followed that up with a season-high six saves in a 3-0 victory against Saint Francis (Pa.). The clean sheet against the Red Flash marked her third shutout of the fall and the eighth of her career.

- Vandam is 3-3 this year with a 3.18 goals-against average, .634 save percentage, 26 saves and a trio of shutouts. She has not allowed a goal in her last 154 minutes of game action. She is tied for the league lead in shutouts.

- Junior Tess Coorens is enjoying a breakout campaign for the Broncs. She leads Rider in goals (5) and points (11). She ranks first in the MAAC with 1.83 points per game and she is tied for tops in the conference with five tallies. She has scored in five of the team's six games this season. Two of her strikes have come on penalty strokes.

- Sophomore Marion Waterkeyn is coming off a solid week for Rider in which she had a goal and two assists. Last time out versus St. Francis (Pa.) she had a pair of assists. Waterkeyn has set new career-bests in goals (3), assists (3) and points (3) already this fall. She has registered at least one point in four straight appearances for the Broncs.

- Freshman Julia Divorra has made an immediate impact for Rider, scoring three goals and dishing out two assists thus far. She scored a goal last time out against the Red Flash.

- Defensively, Alison Amen has registered the team's lone defensive save in 2018.

- Rider has seen four different first-year players (Kat Conroy, Divorra, Tess van Ommeren and Carly Brosious) score goals already this season. Freshmen have accounted for seven of the team's 16 markers this fall.

- As a team, Rider is averaging 2.67 goals per game and over eight penalty corners per tilt.

- Sunday's game is the second of four home matches for Rider. The Broncs are 1-0 at home in 2018 after blanking St. Francis (Pa.), 3-0, last Sunday. The team was 3-3 at Ben Cohen Field in 2017.

- The Broncs are looking to avenge a 3-2 setback on the road against Hofstra last year. The Pride lead the all-time series, 14-12. Rider is looking to snap a four-game skid against Hofsta as the Broncs have no defeated the Pride since 2013.

- Rider is looking to avenge a 3-2 overtime loss at Villanova in 2017. The Broncs lead the all-time series with the Wildcats, 12-7-1.
