- Last time out, the Broncs fell to visiting Lehigh, 5-3, as part of the Liberty Bell Classic on Tuesday afternoon. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Rider in home openers in Lawrenceville.

- In the game with the Mountain Hawks, sophomore Kyle Johnson had two of Rider's five hits. It was his fourth multi-hit game of the spring.

- The Rider bullpen was effective on Tuesday, tossing four and two-thirds innings without allowing an earned run. Nick Payesko, Jordan Silverman and Zach Gakeler all tossed scoreless innings.

- Senior Jake Bender is the only Rider every day starter hitting over .300. He is batting .316 with a team-high 24 hits.

- Earlier this season, Bender and junior Riley Mihalik both recorded the 100th hits of their careers.

- Johnson leads the team with 13 runs scored. He is also one of five Broncs with four steals on the basepaths.

- Senior Harrison McClure leads the team with eight extra-base hits (6 2B & 2 HR) and 10 RBIs.

- Out of the bullpen, junior Jordan Silverman has made a team-high 12 appearances.

- Iona enters the weekend with a 5-15 overall record and 1-2 mark in league action. The Gaels have dropped eight of their last nine games. After dropping their first two MAAC contests of the year, Iona rallied to defeat Siena, 4-2.

- Offensively, Sean Scales leads the Iona offensive attack. He is hitting .400 with a .462 on-base percentage and nine RBIs.
