What You Need To Know

- Rider has won a season-high seven-straight games, its first streak of as many games since the Broncs won 10 straight in 2007-08.
- By virtue of season sweeps of Manhattan (6-7), Quinnipiac (6-7) and Fairfield (5-7), Rider (11-2) has clinched at least the No. 4 seed in the MAAC Tournament.
- RU matched the 2007-08 squad for quickest to 11 wins in 21 years in the league.
- Rider is currently No. 65 in the RPI (as of Feb. 7), its highest ranking of the year.
- Dimencio Vaughn scored the game-winning tip-in with 8.5 seconds left at Fairfield. RU ended the game on an 8-0 run. Vaughn's lay-up, steal and two free throws with 1:18 left gave RU a lead it wouldn't relinquish against Saint Peter's.
- Frederick Scott was named to the Lou Henson Award mid-season Watch List. The award is presented to the nation's top Division I mid-major player.
- Stevie Jordan has been solid all-around (12.8 ppg, 6.0 apg, 3.9 rpg and 1.7 spg).
- Though 3-10 in MAAC play, 10 of Marist's 13 league games have been decided by eight points or less, including three overtime contests.
- Brian Parker paces the Red Foxes at 17.9 points and 3.0 assists per game. David Knudsen (11.7 ppg.) and Ryan Funk (10.7 ppg.) also average in double figures. Tobias Sjoberg is Marist's top rebounder at 5.5 rpg.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 103-86 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
